Just ONE good man Yes, I did write this poem and with no one man in mind.

The Beach
She sits on the sand looking out and over the vast emerald ocean
Her sight is full yet she knows there is more to see
The white tipped waves roll in lapping over one another
And the sea surfs in to the sand reaching out to touch her toes
Her life is full yet there is a missing piece and

ess compels her to fill that empty space as never before.
She sees others on a journey one with the other
And knows a journey of her own waits but alone no more.
She feels content, hopeful and yet yearning, longing
Secure with the familiarity of her surroundings,
The warmth, the gentle breeze and the salty fragrance of the air
She waits with a patience never experienced before;
a patience that longs to be rewarded.
She senses his presence in the air, his sight on the same stars in the sky
And at this moment, although many times before in this same place
She waits happily, heart racing and with a knowing feeling,
That he will come along and take her hand in his
And share the remainder of the journey
She waits for this one man, waits for his gentle eyes and radiant smile
Peace will find its way and joy will abound
When the two shall embrace and complete one another.
