When is it going to be my turn? When is it going to be my turn? When will I have the opportunity to find the one that completes me? When will my heart FINALLY belong to someone that will protect it, cherish it, and respect it? When will my princess find her prince?
Past Relationships have taught me that to love someone you must first love yourself. It took me a while to overcome this and accept me for me. I have also found that love is not a four letter word to be thrown around. I have freely given my heart out, only to have it crushed, broken, and thrown to the side like yesterdays garbage.
I consider myself to be a Southern Gentleman, opening doors, romantic dinners, protecting that special someone in my life. I'm hard working, but not wealthy, I'm dependable, but not meant to be walked on. I trust easily, until that trust is broke. I give it my all to make "MY GIRL" feel special, wanted, and loved.

So what am i looking for? First and foremost, I do not look at outward appearance. Outward appearance means nothing to me. I don't look at what's on the outside, because everyone has a flaw. I concentrate on what is on the inside. Your mind, your soul, and your heart. After all, true love is falling in love with the whole person, inside and out. Being told "You're not my type," hurts, if you haven't seen whats on the inside first.
I could sit here and say that I want this and I want that. A certain body type, a certain hair color. But why? Time eventually changes outward appearances, it can not change a heart that is in love. I want to love someone and be loved in return. I want to care about someone and be cared for in return. I want to give my all to someone and be given back in return.
