Hi,

I am a recent widower, and it is very sad because my wife of 10 years died young of leukemia after a two-year struggle. I don't know if I am ready to start dating again yet to be honest, but it has been a very lonely time without her. I have always really loved red hair, so I figured this is a good place to just come look and start slowly, just to see if I can meet some people for now.

About me: I am 6'1", 195 pounds, white male, toe-blond hair most of my life, but now it is a light golden-brown, blue eyes. I work out regularly and am fairly fit (but not bodybuilder massive). I enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking, swimming, camping. I greatly prefer the country to the city, but I have lived in cities 10+ years too and can handle wherever my environment is. I am college-educated and very well read, and love intelligent women. I am also very artistic and creative oriented. I have worked as a graphic artist, an il----rator, and a cartoonist, and I love any job that involves creating things. Maybe it comes from being born on Shakespeare's birthday.

I know all the stereotypes about men, but the truth is a lot of men are players, and a lot are not. I for one am not. I was happily married for 10 years, and am only interested in hopefully finding the right person for a serious permanent relationship and maybe trying again.

I love red hair, especially wavy/curly red hair, so I figure I should put that up front. I like strong, intelligent women, so those traits probably fit well with the stereotypes of the "fierce" redhead. I like to think I'm a pretty witty guy, and I'd like to be with someone clever who likes to talk about things like liberal arts subjects of all kinds, philosophy, literature, history/culture, current world events, etc. I try to keep myself in decent shape, so I would like to be with someone who likes to hike, swim, exercise, and maybe other athletic activity. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs and prefer the same.
